For touring kind of stuff, you don't really need a group. If you want a group atmosphere, go on one of the regulular bike club rides, and just take the shorter options. The half-metric (37 mi.) might be a good length, and also be populated by a slower crowd. I'll let someone else the the racing answer. -Jeff Bell | |||||

> Are there any organized short rides for children. You should be able to find information about local bicycle clubs from your local bicycle shops. Contact the club and see what rules they have regarding children riding. I know of at least one club that requires children under 18 to be accompanied by an adult on club rides. There are many shorter rides (under 15 miles) in the spring... rides will usualy get longer as the season progresses. |
