    Perhaps cyclists have a strong leader in Washington now.
    To be announced Speaker of the House, Thomas Foley (Democrat
    Washington State) according to a Boston Globe quote "Foley perfers Bach
    and bicyling to back-slapping".  The Globe also states the pushed
    successfully for $3.6M in federal funding for a 60-mile bicycle
    and jogging trail that links Washington and Idaho.
    
    Let's hope his ideal's trickle down!
