My name is Marion Garver. I'm a senior engineer in the
SCO/Advanced Semiconductor Development group in Hudson. I've
saved enough vacation time to be an American Lung
Association TransAmerican Bicycle-Trekker this summer; and
so am interested in collecting donations from persons who'd
like to help the A.L.A. and support this ride.
The ride is 3359 miles; from Seattle, Wa. to Atlantic City,
N.J. in 47 days time (Jun5 - Jul21). They anticipate having
350-400 riders on their third annual Trek. Each Trekker must
collect $5,000, so the DEC Matching Gift program ($15
minimum) is a generous help here.
