Anyone have detail (specifically course/terrain description) on the MEMORIAL DAY RACE in Lowell, Ma? I'm not sure if there is a criterium. I'm interested in the CITIZEN's piece of the event. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Chip

See note 679.* for a description of last year's race. Basically, you head out of town to the New Hampshire boarder, ride along the border for a mile or two, and head back in on a different road ('till it merges with the original one). It's mostly mellow hills. Be very careful. Early-in-the-season citizens' races like this one are notorious for crashes. For many riders, it's their first time to experience a pack... MATT |
