I believe that Performance is correct or at least closer. In
the June 88 issue of Bicycling the rims is listed as weighing 405 grams.
Perhaps the rime is being manufactured slightly different now. One shop
I asked at stated 400 grams as the weight. Who knows.

1001.3 | Nashbar includes eyelets in the weight | IAMOK::WESTER | | Tue Feb 21 1989 09:19 | 5 |
| In Nashbar's catalog they say their rim weights include eyelets.
So, maybe the eyelets add the additional weight. I noticed all
their Clincher rim weights were much higher than what I've seen
in Bicycling magazine.

| I'll ask the question here since I didn't get one in the LIGHT
WEIGHT CLINCHERS note. I scoped these out. The question I have is
how suitable are these on roads (strength-wise)? Would someone
have to worry about the strength of these on some of the rougher
roads (not talking about backroads)?

1001.5 | CD-4's 4 me | DPDMAI::SMITH | The Solitary Cyclist | Mon Mar 20 1989 08:54 | 11 |
| Hi,
I have a set of the CD-4's (sounds like a piece of stereo equipment)
32-hole 3 cross with DT bladed spokes. In a year of riding, their
still straight and true. Another rider I know (who outweighs me
by at least 80 lbs) has them also in 36 hole, 3 cross. Also no
complaints from him.

GS
