	1. I'm in a brief period between paying off my mortgage and taking out
	one much larger for an addition to the house.  I will be "house poor"
	starting this summer.  It's either now or never for splurging.
	2. I get "cabin fever" about the end of February. Not even X-Country 
	weekends with the Bike Club gang satisfies me.  I'll want to go where 
	it's warm and ride my bike a bunch.
	3. For New Englanders, Bermuda is close and cheaper to get to than 
	Florida or the Caribbean, and it's the off season there with lots less
	crowds and cheaper room rates. (You can get a 5 day package, Airfare
	from Boston included, for under $300!).  I did it a few years ago and
	had a great time: the weather was over 70 rather than the expected 60
	and I rode in shorts most of the time. I had a "housekeeping apartment"
 	with kitchen facilities for meals from Friday arrival to Monday 
	departure.  It was really neat to arrive at the airport, put together
	the bike, and pedal off into a strange (but nice) country.
	4. The only thing wrong was doing it alone.  I'd love to be able to 
	meet someone, or a couple, with moderate riding ability (plan 40 - 50 
	mile days with plenty of touristy stops, photography, etc) while down 
	there.  I'm planning on doing it again this Feb. going down Friday the 
	24th and returning Monday the 27th.   Anyone out there in notesland 
	interested?  If you are a single guy, I know of some economical 2
	bedroom apartments that I wouldn't mind sharing.  I've got a packet
	of info listing all the accommodations and rates for most everything on
	the island, from Bermuda Dept. of Tourism if anyone's interested.

	P.S. I'll be taking the diamond-framed bike, so no weird-bike stigma
	will detract from our wanderings ;-) 

Hey Chris, I'm interested (if you'll humor my ice cream needs).

Any possibility of going a bit early and returning early, am 
sopposed to teach a course the week of feb 27.

I'd be willing to stay a bit more than a long weekend.

    	I can't go in February but am very interested as I was looking into
    Bermuda for our honeymoon - the date is May 13th. I ride quite a bit - 
    racing/training, and a little touring. She rides much less -- 15 to 20
    miles at a time, tops.
    
    	I was interested in info you had about airfare, where to stay, etc.
    Any suggestions?
