I have been quoted a price of $575 for the '88 Trek 520
touring bike. Questions:
1. Is this a good price?
2. I read the Bicycling review of the 520 and it looked real
good. Are there any loaded tourer's that would seem
better for the price? The Shogun was liked by the guy
at the shop, but I know little about it ($'s, etc.)
Thanks, Dave

Try International Bicycle Center 783-5804. The have Trek in all shapes and
sizes and others (Cilo, Fuji, Lotus, Cannondale, Specialized, Centurion)
just for comparison. Their prices/service seemed most reasonable to me
when I bought my Trek 560 racer from them in August.
