Campy is adding yet another line of components to its line.
ATHENA is the name and it looks alot like Chours. It will be
cheaper than Chours, looks like Campy is going after Shimano
600 Ultegra!!
Cyclist magazine thought it was the best working group that
Campy puts out, including C Record. If this is true I know what
I'm getting for Christmas.
Has anyone heard any differently on this new group???

I believe ATHENA came out in '89 (for 1990?). In any event, the
group has been out for a while. I don't know anyone who owns
ATHENA, bvut I have owned Chorus and C Record. I can tell you
that there is a difference between hubs and cranks... I can't
speak for ATHENA, but I can't see it out-performing C Record
either...
