798.0. "Time trials in Hudson, Mass." by TFH::DECKER () Wed Jul 27 1988 10:17

    	For those interested in time trials, the Broken Spoke bike
    shop in Hudson has started running them every Tuesday night.

    	It's a 9.6 mile loop starting in Hudson on River St. The course
    winds up through Berlin, runs down route 62, and ends back on River
    St. An interesting run with a nice downhill finish.

    	The phone number to Broken Spoke is (508) 562-6566

    Hi,

    Do you have anymore info such as the cost? Bike shops usually don't
    like you to call about rides or races.

    Thanks-in-advance
    Joe

    	The cost is $1 dollar. The owner (Dave) of the bike shop
    plans to hold the time trials right up till mid-October. Last
    night was the first, so I have no other info.

    	Don't worry about calling him, he's a pretty nice guy.

798.3 Hudson, MA TTUSMRM5::MREIDFri Apr 07 1989 08:5016
    I called the 'Broken Spoke' bicycle shop recently, asking about
    the Hudson (MA) time trials. The owner (Dave) is debating whether
    or not to have the time trial this year, since he is working alone
    in his shop.

    I think he wants to hold the TT, but needs some help; perhaps someone
    to organize, do the timing, or something else. If anyone in the
    Hudson,MA area would like to give him a call (508) 562-6566, I'm
    sure he'd appreciate any interest in participating or helping.

    I rode this TT last year, and it's a nice loop course, with only
    2 real right-hand turns, a long gradual climb, and a fast downhill
    finish. Dave often brings free refreshments to sip on after riding.
