Hi I do not have a garage or shed at home. Does anyone know where I can get a fairly cheap cover for my bike (Reading area) so that I can leave it in the back garden? Thanks in advance for any information. A.

Have you tried the local cycle shops, such as Berkshire Cycles or UB Cycles? Alternatively, the Freewheel catalogue lists a cycle cover that looks quite good for 5.65 (you should be able to get it at, or through, Berkshire Cycles). Contact me if you want more details. Rod

If it will be left outdoors with a plastic cover on it, it is likely to rust more quickly because of condensation that will form under the cover and then not evaporate. At least that is what I read in a book on bike-camping that advised leaving bikes uncovered overnight. But overnight one night at a time could be quite different from overnight for extended periods. ed

I have no garage or shed either... leave my bike outside? No way! I bring it into the house. Much safer.
