699.0. "Desperately seeking racing" by ULTRA::SEIDEN (Planet 10 by way of the 8th dimension) Thu Jun 02 1988 13:50

    Anyone know of any rides/centuries/races this weekend in the
    Greater Boston area?

    Or perhaps is anyone driving up to North Conway to do the
    Kancamagus Time Trial?

699.1 WELLESLEY 'BIATHLON INTO SUMMER'USMRM5::MREIDThu Jun 02 1988 17:0113
    On Sunday, June 5, 9:00 AM there is a Biathlon starting at the
    Wellesley Racquet Club (Rt 16 in Wellesley Hills, MA).
    It's a 5 Mile run, then 20 Mile bike. Teams are allowed, so you
    can bike, and sucker someone else into the run.

    For more info: Wellesley Racquet Club
    	           Phone: 617-235-4307
    	 	   Race Directors: Ann Grant and Chris Teller

    BTW- it's $20 for individuals, $30 for Teams (Tax deductible since
         all proceeds goto M.S.). Day-of-Race registrations are $5 more.

    Anyone from the MA/NH area interested in pooling up to the Spokesperson
    Road Race in Springvale, ME this Sunday (6/26)? 22 mi citizen race over
    rolling terrain, w/BBQ afterwards.
    I have an Allen rack that can accomodate one additional cycle; open
    to suggestions otherwise. Send mail.

699.6Here's what I'm doing...UMBIKE::KLASMANThu Jul 14 1988 11:0814
I know of no organized C's this weekend. There's a crit in Woonsocket RI on
Sunday.  USCF and Cit.

I'm planning on doing a dbl-c on Sat, starting from the Tara in Nashua at 4am.
I'll be riding with a small group doing 600k. I'll return to Nashua by about
10am to begin my 2nd 100m, a route from Nashua to the seacoast (Hampton NH).
I'm planning on riding about 6-hour/C pace, including rests.

I'm also hoping to do a C on Sunday, but that depends on how well Saturday
goes.

Care to join me? Anyone else?

Kevin
