Does anyone know where I can get the best price for a Biachi Volpe? I live in Watertown, MA, so the closer the better, but I can easily pick it up here in the Nashua area if they're available around here.

Why do you want a Volpe? To dust a few mountain bikes near the power lines, or to bounce over the frost heaves on Francestown Turnpike? Is cyclocross making a comeback? MATT PS - I saw them a few months ago for about $550 at Belmont Wheelworks and the Bicycle Exchange in Cambridge. I think the price is pretty standard. Asking over the phone might yield the best price, if you're certain that's the bike you want. | |||||

Did you get the Volpe (or does anyone else have one). I'm curious what you think of it. How does it do on the road? I don't expect it to respond like a racer, but is it comparable to a bike set up for moderate touring? Ed |
