615.0. "Location Choice Holiday" by PVAX::BELISLE () Tue Apr 12 1988 10:59

       			Location Choice Holiday

As everyone knows Monday April 18, 1988 is Digital's Location
Choice Holiday. I would like to spend the day riding, oooh, maybe
60 or 70 miles, maybe more. Is there anybody out there that is getting
together on this day for a little bike ride?
I live in R.I., But am willing to drive my car to a central
location to start a ride. Weather plays a very big factor, I'll
have to call whomever Monday morning to make sure of our plans...
If it's bad on Monday I may just come to work and take the next
    nice day off.

Oh, by the way, I ride at about 18 mph, but can go slower
or faster depending on who I'm riding with.

By faster I mean 19 or 20, but not 25mph.
By slower I mean 15 or 16, but not 12mph.

Umm, a Location Choice Holiday is only a holiday for that location. You'll
find your pool of riders smaller than you expected. Here at ZKO, for example,
the Location Choice is an individual choice -- like another Personal Choice.

615.2I think you might stir up some interest...CIMNET::MJOHNSONMatt JohnsonTue Apr 12 1988 14:097
Most places in Massachusetts (what I assume .0 means by a "central"
    location) have the 18th off.

If I get a new wheel in time, I'm up for it. Your pace and distance
    sounds perfect!
