	The Nashua Velo Club has just changed its charter from a 
     racing/touring club to a developmental racing club. Its goal 
     is to help riders develop into racing or to develop into faster 
     recreational riders.  The club presently is made up of USCF 
     catagory III and IV racers along with fast recreational riders,
     who are not interested in racing. It is also looking to develop 
     a catagory III race team.  

	Club Members could purchase team race jerseys at cost, take 
     part in the training rides and there would also be developmental 
     rides where less experienced riders would be taught the do's and 
     don'ts of pack riding.

	Last year the Nashua Velo Club sponsored the very successful
     Pack Monadnock Hill Climb as part of Wilton Day Celebration.  This 
     race was in conjunction with a roller-blade race (US Olympic 
     cross-country ski team attended) and a 13 mile foot race.  Also 
     the NVC held various seminars on bicycle repairs and fitness.  
     The fitness seminar featured a local chiropractor and a local 
     physical therapist. Discussions ranged from nutrition and cramps 
     to cycling benefits of proper body alignment.

	More NVC sponsored siminars will be held this year and the Pack 
     Monadnock Hill Climb will also be sponsored this year.

	If anyone is interested in

			o Getting into racing,
			o Learning to ride faster,
			o Becoming an ATTACHED USCF racer, or
			o Riding on a Catagory III team

     Oh yes, the NVC is a fully incorporated non-profit organization.

Are there any conflicts with belonging to other clubs as well?  Does the USCF
affiliation matter?  Tho I'm not sure I want a USCF license (I'd probably like
to race citizen's class for a while) I may in the future.  I currently belong
to UMCA (Ultra-marathon Cycling Assoc) and am considering NVC, GSW and 
G.S. Crono.  Both NVC and G.S. Crono are USCF clubs.

Do you think there would be interest in forming a citizen racing team?  I 
don't think that I'm interested in USCF racing (at least for a while) but I 
would love to learn team tactics and to enter some cit races as a team.

    I am also interested in learning tactics, etc.  And, I'd like to
    participate in some citizen races.  That's why I joined NVC this 
    year.  I understand that they have a new charter which is much
    more oriented to this kind of training than in the past.

    Sorry I haven't responded sooner, however I have been on vacation.
    
    The NVC Board (of which I am a member) want to have a USCF team and
    a Citizens team.  However, it depends on how much interest is shown
    by the members.  We are hoping that enough (3 or more) members are
    interested in forming a Citizens team.  I encourage any new members
    or interested riders to attend our open house on March 28th.
    
    (other club conflicts)
    There are no club conflicts unless you are a USCF racer.  If you
    register with the USCF as an attached rider that you are allowed
    to race only with that clubs jersey that you are attaced with.

Good.  I'll be at the meeting, and I'll be interested in talking about the 
citizen's team.  Does anyone out there have a copy of the Citizen racing 
schedule?  I'm assuming there is one this year...there was last year.
