463.0. "Windtrainer problem" by MPGS::POND () Thu Sep 10 1987 20:34

I just bought a wind trainer at a yard sale...I could not wait to fire
her up...but I notice that a hi-pitch sound developed...sound like the bearings
has anyone had this problem with there trainers? And If so how did you correct
the problem??????
 Thanx Neal

    I had the bearings in a wind trainer go bad; I simply went to a local
    bearing dealer (here in Mass, a place called 'Atlantic Tracy' in the
    Framingham area), bought a new pair and pressed them in.

    Also, check the roller and fan setscrews for tightness.
