I'm interested in one of the electronic speedometers. The best price I have seen is for one that tracks speed, trip mileage, and total mileage with four magnets (vs. just 1) at Cycle Center in Natick for about $25. I'd appreciate hearing about better prices if there are any. Thanks, Pete

Why do you need 4 magnets to track speed, trip mileage, and total mileage???? Wouldn't one be all that is necessary??? I've got an Avocet and I'm pleased with it! 1 magnet!!!!! The Cateye Micro looks like a good deal though... You get more than just the 3.... Stew

RE: 403.0 There are numerous notes and replys dealing with bike computers/ speedos. You could do a seach for such things as "Cateye" or "Avocet" or "computer". Something like: SEARCH/NOTE=1.*-*.* "Cateye" While I'm here; I rode my first century Saturday, 16 days before I turn 40. What a thrill. Hope there are many more. Scott

> I'd appreciate hearing about better prices if there are any. You can get one at your local K-mart for about $19.95. It has a wheel that rides on the tire instead of magnets near the hub. It provides speed and probably a trip odometer. |
