Taken from today's "Guardian" (UK national daily) report on the
Tour de France:
"Today the Tour continues West, passing just below Paris before
starting the huge anti-clockwise plunge South that in the final
week will loop up and over the Alps back to the capital. No tourist
in his right mind would attempt such a journey in so short a time,
unless he or she were American perhaps."
Fits in with some of the stuff I've read in this file!
