I'm in the market for a new bike.  I've read most of this notes file and been
to several shops in the Springs.  One shop had a 1986 version of a Maruishi
Record for what seemed to be a very good price.  Has anyone heard of this
brand?  The brochure they hand out says the company has been around for years
and that they have built bikes for Bianchi, Lotus and Specialized to name a
few.

Any comments would be helpful.

	In my part time business I use to sell Maruishi. However I don't believe Maruishi built the bikes you named, but was one of the bikes made by the same company. The quality, I believe, is equal to most production bikes from Japan.
