Thought we should have a note about frame building (hope there isn't one already). I built one (track frame) a few years ago. Great experience. Spent about 6 months on it, part-time (very part-time). It's really not as hard and mysterious as it is made out to be. You just take your time. You can build a one-frame jig out of wood, so you don't need anything expensive to build one. Chuck

I have, "Designing and Building your own Frameset" by Richard P Talbot. I also have Dave Hartranft's (sp ?) flyer from yesterday's mail, some tubes, lugs, a bb shell etc., somewhere in the garage. Reg PS If anyone would like to borrow the book sometime send me mail. |
