Any opinions on Shimano's BioPace sprockets? I put a set on my ancient Peugeot, and am not sure whether I can detect a difference save for one thing, which is that my legs seem to tire more easily. I speculate that the constant load may inhibit blood circulation. Anybody else got two cents worth? John Peters

43.1 | Sugino Cycloids aren't much different | RAINBO::WASSER | John A. Wasser | Wed Apr 23 1986 10:04 | 12 |
The bottom two chainrings on my triple are Sugino Elipticals (which is not quite the same thing). The only time I notice is when cranking up a hill using the 28 eliptical chainring and 28 cog. A friend of mine got on my bike on a wind trainer and immediatly noticed that something was unusual... I don't know if he felt it in the peddaling or looked down to see the chain bobbing up and down. There may be some benifit to out-of-round chainrings but I can't realy tell. -John A. Wasser |
