SUNDAY, APRIL 13 - 10:00 a.m. - COVERED BRIDGE RIDE
Meet at the Victory Market, on rt. 2A, just west of Ayer, MA. Bring
a picnic lunch. Enjoy rolling hills, classic New England towns, and
a covered bridge.
SUNDAY, APRIL 20 - 10:00 a.m. - PARKER'S SUGAR HOUSE RIDE
Meet at Townsend Common for a leisurely ride to Parker's Sugar House
for a second breakfast. Round trip is approximately 25 miles. For
those wanting a longer ride, a group is leaving from Donelan's
Super Market on Rt. 2A in Littleton at 9:00 a.m. for a round trip of
50 miles. Contact Sandy O'Neill (443-9064) if you want to leave from
Littleton.
SUNDAY, MAY 4 - 7:30 a.m. - APPLE BLOSSOM CENTURY
100 miles or 100 km through Apple Country. Register at 7:30 a.m. to
start off at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Meet near the Sears Auto Center,
Searstown Mall, junction rts. 2 and 13, Leominster. Fee is $6.00 for
the century or $3.50 for the metric ($5.00 and $2.50 for FCC members),
includes maps, patch, and sag service.

SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 12, 19, MAY 3 - 10:00 a.m. - SHOW AND GO RIDES
Meet in parking lot at Sheraton Boxborough Hotel on Mass. Ave. in
Boxborough (Squaresville). Destination and pace are dependent on
who shows up. Riding is usually over by early afternoon.
SUNDAY, APRIL 13 - 10:00 a.m. - ORIENTATION RIDE
Meet at Bates Farm Ice Cream Stand on rt. 225 in Carlisle. This is
a beginner's ride, although experienced riders are encouraged to come
along as well. Rules of the road and group riding techniques will be
reviewed. Ride is about 10 miles.
SUNDAY, APRIL 13 - 1:00 p.m. - GROTON AREA RIDE
Meet at the Groton High School parking lot on Rt. 119 in Groton for a
ride of 20 - 25 miles. Call Duane Leary 433-2552 for more info.
SUNDAY, APRIL 20 - 1:00 p.m. - PATRIOT'S RIDE
Meet at the monument in Concord for a 15 - 20 mile ride through Concord,

TOSRV-EAST - JUNE 20-22
Join AYH on the 15th annual Tour of Scenic Rural Vermont. This trip
begins in Rawsonville VT and follows rt. 100 to the Ski Hostel lodge
in Waterbury Center. Since the ride covers 100 miles each way, only
experienced cyclists should register. Cost is $35, which includes
accommodations, sag service and insurance coverage. Participation is
limited to 80, so register early. To register (or for more information)

BUD LIGHT PAN-MASSACHUSETTS CHALLENGE - JUNE 21-22
Sturbridge to Provincetown (187 miles, two days) to benefit the Jimmy
Fund. Cyclists must collect a minimum of $400 in pledges and
contributions. A deposit of $50 is required no later than June 14.

BAM '86 (BICYCLE ACROSS MASSACHUSETTS) - JULY 3-6
Join the Cyclonauts Bicycling Club of West Springfield for a ride
across the state. Maximum limit of entries set at 100. Trip covers
approximately 55 miles per day, starting in Great Barrington and
ending with a banquet in Plymouth. Cost of $138 covers 3 nights
sleeping in college dorms, 3 breakfasts, box lunches and dinners, and
the banquet in Plymouth, tour packet and a BAM T-shirt. Registration
fee is non-refundable after June 1. Minimum age is 18. For more

COAST OF MAINE TOUR - JULY 11-13
Easy Rider Tours is offering a Coast of Maine tour in conjunction
with the Lotus Bike Club. The tour includes camping on the beach at
Casco Bay, cycling along the coast and staying at an oceanfront inn,
and touring rural inland roads. Cost is $100, which includes all food,
lodging, dinner and breakfast at the Birchwood Inn, leaders, map and
a two-hour bike touring clinic and preparatory meeting. A $50 deposit

NEAR '87 UPDATE . . . The New England Area Rally is planning its next
biannual event for summer 1987 in southern New Hampshire. The
Granite State Wheelmen will be the host club. If you want to help
