Subject: two road bikes for short riders

A graduate student in our department has at least two more road bikes
than she needs. She is Beth Heiden, former US , Coors Classic and world
champion. The bikes are the usual for such cyclists: custom frames
with cosmetics from a sponsor, I think one says AMF and the other says
Avocet. Both were made for a road rider who was just short of 5'2", and
prefers a short top tube. Both have sew-up wheels, silk tires, etc.
I believe both are Reynolds, though I would have to check with Beth.
She wants somewhat over $1000.00 each for them, depending on what wheels
and components you want (currently, I think one is all Super-Record,
the other Dura-Ace.) Treat this as approximate, and reply to me via
mail if you are interested enough to want more information. Beth has
no account/mailing address.
