Hi,

we were asked by on of our partners to do some interoperability testing b/w 
GIGAswitch/ATM, VNswitch 900EA and some Cabletron devices - MMACplus (with 4 
port FORE adapter), Smart Switch (7C04-R, 7A06-1) and ESX-1380 (12 port 
Ethernet FO and 1 ATM uplink).

Have you anybody tested the LANE interoperability?

One problem is, that ESX-1380 connects to GIGAswitch LECS using well known 
address but obtains only address of LES not BUS.

The second problem is, that the Smart Switch does not connect anyway - modul 
LED of corresponding port is green blinking and the physical LED port status 
is amber.

GIGAswitch is using old QLC, FW 2.0.

Do you have any comments, any suggestions or some troubleshooting tips?
