Hi you out there in the world of ATM,
I have a very simple question:
Is there any possibility to trace the ILMI signalling on DUNIX 4.0x at
this time? Or are we able to trace ILMI in the future on DUNIX?
The backround is:
We have some problems with systems with more than one ATM interface and
LANE V1.0, one of the interfaces is going into the state "S_INITIAL",
and we want to know whether there is any further signalling or not.
B.w. the systems have two CPUs, "atmsig" is started with "uni=3.1" and
they are connected to GIGAswitch/ATM 5-slot with CMM V1.82 and LC
V.2.1.3 and the interfaces of the systems are connected to different
GS/ATM (in Firewall slang to the "blue net" and the "red net", no
connection is between the GS/ATM).
Many thanks in advance
Wolfgang Nord

Hi Wolfgang -- Although you are asking to trace ILMI, you provide no information suggesting that ILMI is actually not working. If you check status on the device with: #atmsig status driver=lta0 What does it say about ILMI? If ILMI appears to be Ok, then perhaps it is another problem. What does it say about Signaling status? You could also try: #atmsig trace driver=lta0 state=on read On the machine where it is not working; replace lta0 as appropriate. Cheers, >Per | |||||
