Hi ATM gurus, hi ATM DUNIX gurus,
one short question:
is it planned in a future CLIP definition to have more than one
interface in one and the same LIS (as we can do with all our other
interfaces like Ethernet and FDDI)?
Thanks in advance

It might be possible to do this with "Classic 2", the replacement for
RFC 1577, that is currently being finalized. Classic 2 supports
multiple IP addresses associated with the same client. I'm not sure
it would be desireable (or even possible) to have them come from two
different interfaces, though.
Note that while we allow multiple interfaces in the same subnet for
Ethernet and FDDI, we also advise customers very strongly not to
use this feature.
