It it possible to run Netbui protocol across LANE on the ATM350 and ATM750 running d-unix 4.0b? Thanks, Brad

You can run Netbui across LANE on the ATMworks 350 under Windows NT. I didn't think Netbui ran on Digital Unix.... doug | |||||

I found out more info from the customer, the application that runs netbui is a third party application. So now I suppose what it comes down to is if the third party application can map to a elan device instead of a ln0 or fta0 device. Btw, pathworks for d-unix has a netbui stack in it. So I wonder if with pathworks if it can map to a elan device. Brad | |||||

I don't believe Pathworks is supported over LANE. If the 3rd party application is STREAMS based, then it will run into the DLB bug mentioned in note 840. /gary |
