856.0. "ATM specs on the net?" by SOS6::HOFFMANN (HOFFMANN Lionel/loc=evt/DTN number=858 5647) Fri Mar 07 1997 09:10

    Hello,

    Is it possible to get the ATM FORUM specs or some of them on the net.
    I'd like to find the last version of ILMI.any ideas?
    I suppose that some people in Digital are involved in ATM FORUM and
    can make the specs available even if it is restricted...
    I hope so......
    Who are the right persons?
    Thanks
    LIonel

Re: .0

Go to ftp.atmforum.com (you'll probably need gate-ftp or something like it),
and look under /pub/approved-specs. The ILMI 4.0 specification is in files
af-ilmi-0065.000.{doc,mib,pdf,ps,rtf}.

Re: .1

Yes, but you need an account and password to get anything other than approved
specifications. For instance, you need an account to get the LANE 2.0 "straw
ballot" specification.

    Re: .2 --> Re: .1

    Normally you should be able to get an account and password as a Digital
    employee, or did things change?

    Cheers,

    Thank you everybody .yes I've heard about an account name and password
    for Digital.Is there any person involved into the ATM FORUM knowing
    this account?
    because most of the specs need this account
    Thanks

856.5You need a personal accountSMURF::GREBUSDTN 381-1426 - Digital UnixMon Mar 10 1997 13:446
    You need to get an account assigned to you personally. Send mail to
    [email protected] requesting an account. Include your name and the
    fact that you are a Digital employee.
