Hi there,

How to beat Cabletron's MMAC-plus with our GS/ATM?
The MMAC-Plus product sounds like a powerful multiswitch product, It can 
support hight density ATM, Ethernet, F.Ethernet and FDDI switch ports! 
Also can do VLAN switching! A good product!

	Hi, you don't specify the customer's requirements which are actually more important than what Cabletron's systems can do. In any case, if you need multi-technology switching, with every port running at line rates, then a combination of GIGAswitch, ATMswitch 900 and VNswitch 900 will surely suffice, as we can also do all that you mention (Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, FDDI, ATM and VLAN switching), including VLAN switching amongst many hubs.
