Goog morning, godd afternoon, goog evening and all the times between in our nice world, A customer bought a Digital Alpha 100 4/266, installed WNT4.0 (firmware is V3.7) and an ATMworks 350 (drivers are V1.01 and V2.00). He connected this card, installed in the system named above, to a FORE- Switch, type ASX200BX. If he started the A0100, he will get the following messages on the FOREswitch: isr[24]: INFO: fore-lane-le-20104: les: Received LE_JOIN_REQUEST from lec #35 isr[24]: INFO: fore-lane-le-20111: les: Register(08:00:2b:80:4a:10) for lec #35 isr[24]: INFO: fore-lane-le-20102: les: Received RELEASE from lec #35 isr[24]: INFO: fore-lane-le-20112: les: Unregister(08:00:2b:80:4a:10) for lec#35 Has anybody seen this, what's going on, is there a problem with our ATMw350 card and LAN-emulation, do we have some informations for the customer? Sorry that I can't give you more information, ask me, I will ask the customer. Is this normal??? Is there anything, that can be go wrong? Thanks in advance Wolfgang Nord MCS@BEO@germany

You might try the version of driver that is current out for the ATMworks 350, which is version 2.1. Version 3.0 will be out soon. Are you using a named elan or a default one? doug | |||||

Hi Doug,
many thanks for your answer, I gave it to the customer, he were able to
downline load it from our Web-side, and it resolved that problem. I
don't know whether the customer is using a named or a default elan, but
he is very happy, that there was any help for his problem. He is a
student, who is writing his magister in something (I don't know!), and
he has to bring up this ATM-link for his examination for a diploma.
