Connect the VAX systems to GS/FDDIs so that you have full duplex switching over FDDI and then add the upcoming GS/FDDI ATM option. Buy the GS/FDDI today, add IP switching later this year, add ATM after that. Of course, if you need ATM intersite, that exists today with GS/FDDI between GS/FDDIs. | |||||
