got one on order, but I've "borrowed" a CDX for a weekend. It Takes up
the whole glove box. It looks like a whole new moulding, as it's not as
big as the normal "hole".

| Why do Vauxhall put this in the glovebox? Reduced cost of cabling???

| I hear - coz I asked why ? - it's for security ....!
I asked if they could relocate it to the boot ... answer was no ... I
needed to order "A" CD for "after fit" by the dealer. The glove box is
usually much bigger than the CD front. It looks like they put a whole
new panel in to reduce the opening size. You also loose the cooled
glove box where you have aircon. I decided it was not worth the effort
to sort out an alternative CD, so went with the standard Vauxhall
option - I did think about an Omega instead - Boot mounted CD ..!!
