| This looked like a good place to add a note!
Can anyone tell me whether the non-standard type-faces for reg. no's
that are getting more and more common, have become legal? The 'lads'
round my way have all suddenly acquired italic / curvy / hand writing,
so maybe the law changed recently?
Maybe someone who makes up the plates just moved into town!!

| I thought they were still illegal. I assume, after yesterdays piece
about Gatso's, that the Police just do't have the time for such trivial
matters. I would have thought that if the number is made to look so
illegible it cannot be easily read you are still likley to get pulled over.

I think its mentioned here somewhere that its a loophole in the
regulations in as much that there is a regulation height of characters
but not the 'font' so as long as the curvy / weird letters and numbers
are the correct height they are legal.
