| Is this new Renault model meant to replace an existing model, or is it just an
addition. If the later, then where in the product range does it sit......between
the 19 and the Laguna maybe ??

| Well! Jeremy Clarkson didn't like the coup� very much! Watching him
driving with that nappy changing mat on his head was hilarious. I think
Renault might complain!

| I actually like the look of the coupe, I saw one on the road yesterday.
Shame about the pathetic boot.
I wouldn't let JC put anyone off. He seems to rubbish anything that
hasn't got the performance of an Escort Cosworth (mind you, he liked
the Skoda Favorit. Bizarre!).

| My Renault magazine that arrived over the holiday has a picture
of the Megane Scenic, the MPV model. This is the same length as
the hatchback but with a high roof and driving position. It has
five individual removable seats (that can swivel in the front).
It looks to me like the most interesting of the range, but won't
be available until next Spring.

| I've ordered a top of the range TD and was quoted dlivery of 1 August
1996 - and yes I could pick it up at 2 mins past midnight.
But the other day LP contacted me to say there was a problem. I called
and they suggested I talk direct to the dealer. It seems there's a
quality problem and Renault won't release it to production 'til it's
fixed.
The dealer then suggested getting a loan Laguna TD from Renault at no
cost to LP, Digital or me. They'll do the negotiation with Renault and
have suggested that I can have it from the expiry date of the current
lease for as long as is needed.
So far my disappointment at the delay is well tempered by the display
of customer service from the dealer and LP.
Anyone know what the quality problem is?

..so he can drive around in the dark in a brand new P registered car for
a few hours of course ! Not that anyone will notice though, the only
people driving around at that time on August 1st are all to busy posing
in _their_ brand new cars %^)
