Hi, Thanks for the help with the chamois. As it turned out I tried a synthetic chamois, and this soaked up much more than the natural one. Another question, for those in the states: Which companies add detergents to their fuel in the states? Do they only add it to their fuel with the highest octane rating? Thanks.

I'd say that most all major brands have some level of detergents in their gas. What I've observed is that when a fuel company markets a new detergent that makes your car run smoother, starts better and smells like a pine forest, they put it in their high octane fuel so you have to pay more $$ to try it. Eventually the detergent will be part of all their octane levels. Dave |
