Newsflash from VTX - 

  ****************************** NEWSFLASH **********************************
  Vauxhall will be launching the replacement for the Cavalier, to be called
  the Vectra, in the UK during October 1995.  Production of the Cavalier has
  ceased and new orders are to be sourced from the stocks available.
  Therefore no orders will be accepted for factory fitted options except
  metallic/pearlescent paint.

  Please contact Lease Plan on 830 8066 for further information if you are
  considering ordering a Cavalier this year.

  No model details or prices have been made available for the Vectra to date.

    It implies that you can still order Cavaliers but not with factory
    fittted options.
    
    IMO Worth waiting for the Vectra anyway.

    The message has been there for some time, I picked up on it from a
    previous note in this notesfile.
    
    Has anyone who was planning on ordering a Cavalier actually approached
    LeasePlan to see what more information they can offer ?
