Hello out there I've seen reports and adverts in a couple of magazines on SplitFire spark plugs (for both car and Motorcycles) - with claims for better performance, better ecomony, and better (reduced) emissions - through better burning of the fuel/air mixture...(i think) These plugs ARE expensive though. Does anyone out there have a Phone number for the UK distributor so that I can see if they do plugs for my vehicle? Ta Gary

Hi Gary, You will probably be able to buy a set of these plugs at your nearset Halfords shop, or from a local motor factors. I think they are about 30 pounds a set. As to whether they actually benefit your engine performance-wise or fuel economy wise, I'm not really convinced that they are worth the cost. My friend runs a J plate 205 GTI 1.6 and he fitted them a couple of months ago. So far he hasn't noticed any performance increase or better fuel economy. Fortunately he didn't pay for them, otherwise he would have been quite upset. Don't want to put you off or anything! Cheers, Gavin......... | |||||
