2337.0. "MAX POWER" by AYOV25::SMOORE () Thu Nov 10 1994 23:53

I don't know if there is a note on this subject in here but how about
starting one anyway? What I'm referring to is the title of this note
MAX POWER named after the magazine(sorry if it's breach of copyright).
So if anyone is into performance tuning,bodystyling,I.C.E. or anything
related this is where to put it,tell us what kind of cars you have, what
you have done to them and anything else that might be of interest.
If you think this is a good idea let me know,I'm sure there's someone
out there who will have some input.
So to start off let me tell you about my car,it is a 1990 G-REG Renault
5 GT Turbo,I've only had it a few months so modifications are (VERY)
    limited,so far I've fitted a Kenwood KRC-453L head unit and a CDC-C601
10 disc auto-changer,the only other item fitted is the alarm,it's a
Clifford Eagle with Sense&Tell,Smart Windows and an additional cell
powered siren, this little lot came to 826 pounds (for the alarm, not the
I.C.E.)in my opinion an alarm should come before any(well almost any)
modifications, why spend all your hard earned cash on YOUR ultimate car
only to find it gone one morning because you don't have a decent alarm
fitted. As I said this is only an opinion, and opinions vary, let me know
    what you think.
Also let me know how much you pay for insurance I pay 259 pounds TPFT
for 3 months,I'm 24 years old with 3 points for speeding.

2337.1A 1990's MG???????????OPCO::TSG_BHLMon Nov 14 1994 01:48223

Good idea...I buy MAX POWER on occassions..some of the cars look great
I'd love to have get an Escort Cosworth but the MGB (see below ) is
    chewing up all my resources...

I agree that security is a 1st priority . I'm intending to use on
of those dual sector radar sensors...Makes great sense in a
convertible. Alpine make a really nice unit that incorporates and
engine kill setup as well....I also intend to have seperate key switchs
for the EFI computer and Fuel pump....The car won't be a daily drive
machine so these little things won't be too big a drag...A Club
steering lock is also mandatory....I intend to also have a key lock
for the bonnet and boot. I got the key's from a local locksmith and
are the registered uncopyable ones...I'm going to have a siren in the
cabinet under the dash to discourage those digging in that area..
one under the hood and one in the boot....to discourage people that
attempt to steal the motor or CD changer...Those little sirens
certainly hurt....The dash unit will reside behind a locked cover that
will come out on rails when the cover is opened...The changer/amps will
reside just behind the seats in the area above the batteries (MG owners
will understand)...I'm enclosing this section so I can make use of the
space better....This will be an unusual place for such things and
make it harder for any would be thief...The batteries are out of the
way in ventilated boxes under the car like on a standard MG..Very hard
to get to without jacking up the car.....The dash is hand made so I
will enclose the area's underneath making it hard to reach up into the
dash without removing these cover plates...A hard thing to do with a
125db siren screaming in your ear....The keyswitchs for the computer
and fuel will be in the kick panel....and not obvious...

I suspect that as I just read in the US mag CAR AUDIO and ELECTRONICS
if they want it they'll get a flatbed truck and take it..
I of course won't park it on the street like the person in question..
It will be locked away in my garaged and chained to the floor....
There was one local chap who had the entire wall of his garage removed
so they could steal his Harley Davidson...

I suspect the only people interested will be joy riders...and its going
to a mongrel to steal just for a joy riders...People who want the
stereo will just get frustrated......My worst fear is of someone slashing
the seats and scratching the paint....

now for the really important bits (the bits that make it go and stop)

This is put together from bits in 2335.*

I'm building/heavily modifying an 1967 MGB roadster. The cars been
being built for many years now and is probably only 9 months from
    completion.

Since the list of changes is too big to mention completely I'll just
give a quick overview (MG purists should leave now 8-) )

Body: Removal of all trim/bumpers. addition of front spoiler.
Entire body/chassis back to bare metal and painted with the
Midnight Blue of the current Honda Prelude.

Chassis: reinforced and seam/stitch-welded. Full Chrome-Moly roll cage.

Diff: Cut down ford 9" with aluminum centre and full floating axles.

Gearbox: Getrag 5 speed..same as what came in the BMW 635CSI

    Motor:
The motor is an 1984 block...with the 4.4L crank from the local leyland V8.
We had to remove some bits from the crank counterweights to make it
clear the block. Bore is left at 3.5L size so we can retain rigidity
in the block. The bottom end has a girdle that incorporates the main
caps..Once again for strength....The rods are late model rover (89' I
think) . Pistons are custom made from cosworth blanks with gapless
rings. The Valves are Chevy....I can't remember exact sizes , but their
as big as you reasonably can go...The valves, combustion chamber and
piston tops are all ceramic coated..This gives us higher combustion
temperatures and means less heat escapes through the piston...meaning
the oil runs cooler...cool enough to not need an oil coiler....The
rockers are Australian made Yella Terra roller rockers ...very good and
blood expensive. The crank is some yank grind about 330 duration and
    about 500thou lift(excuse the brain fade)...This cam gave 430hp in a
EFI 5L GMH V8 here running on hig octane unleaded. The motor still
idles fine and has heaps of low down grunt....We were going originally
as mentioned before use a roller cam with 350 duration at about 600thou
lift...a nice wild cam...we could still use it but we had to get the
cam made in the US and coupled with roller lifters blew cost by another
A$2500...Redline will be about 6500 max...
The bottom ends runs a 3 stage dry sump pump made by moroso...the sump
is made by my friend...we are removing the original oil
pump/distributor combo and running seperate oil feeds to the top if the
    motor...
Induction is with a plenum chamber setup running into a hand made
manifold with 8 throttle bodies and 8 injectors..coupled with the MOTEC
system..This system is the same one used by the V8 touring cars at
    Bathurst...Timing will be crank triggered.....
We are removing the water pump housing and using an electric water
pump. The water pump flows 30 gpm and with a thermostat allows quick
warm up and cool down if required. Water will run in the reverse
direction as is done on most new cars (opposite of normal)...
A plate across the front of the motor will incorporate engine mounts ..
This is like what the put on drag cars...The cam will come through the
plate and we will be using a rubber belt to the crank like on the 2L
escort motors used to have...This allows me to adjust cam timing very
quickly...retarding both cam and spark timing will allow the motor run on
normal fuel...advancing both cam and spark timing will allow the motor
to run on 104 octane and run much more boost....
The rear of the sump will incorporate small engines mounts to take load
    off the bell housing....
We have found a chap who will make us Kevlar rocker covers and
a plenum/air box...The standard rocker covers are'nt high enough for
the new rockers etc...These look very cool and I've seen similar on
some of the local touring cars...
The Turbo sits out front and will feed into the plenum chamber...

The motor has not been dyno'ed yet...we are waiting on money for the
computer brain to run the EFI and for the turbo's to become available.
The turbo's are only available in the US.

Total cost of the motor is about A$16000-A$18000

I redid the HP calculations yesterday (13-NOV-94). Running 9:1
compression and without a turbo the motor should give about 350hp..
Adding the turbo with 5psi of boost (.33bar) should give by my
calculations about 450hp on 94 octane leaded fuel...
With 104Octane aviation fuel and assuming the motor can handle one bar
of boost (14.7PSI) we should in theory get 700hp.....
The formula's I looked at give you a 100% increase in power at 1 bar
boost because you are adding an extra atmosphere's worth of pressure...
This sounds reasonable , but I doubt that the motor is going to
withstand 1 bar of boost???....Compression at this boost level is about
    18.5 to 1...a hell of a lot....I guess we'll wait and see..The 944
turbo motor my friend is racing runs 1.5 bar of boost without hassle..
Though there static compression is about 8:1 or lower..

    Suspension:
Rear: 5 link rear end with coil-over shocks/springs
Front: Hand fabricated front crossmember/A-arms with Magnesium uprights
    	   etc
The reason's for the front crossmember change are numerous , but the
main one is that to get everything to fit we either needed to move the
engine back about an inch (ie chop the firewall) or move/modify the
crossmember. As you all know the crossmember is huge..a smaller lighter
one similar to what you can get aftermarket for hotrods will give us
the room and other benefits..The crossmember is being done by a local
race shop. The layout is based on some late 60's sedan racer and is
currently fairly state of the art for this type of suspension. This
shop use it on their 600hp chevy power sports sedan. basically a
chassis witha fiberglass body. Its real nice, has adjustable everything
and comes with magnesion spindles which allows the big brakes etc..
This may/will allow us some more room for the tyres..though its pretty
hard to guess what will fit and won't ..especially at the moment with
the original front suspension not on the car..

    Brakes:
Rear: Ford 11" ventilated discs with single spot calipers.
Front: 13" ventilated discs with 4 spot calipers

    Performance: 0-100: 3-4 seconds estimated
mile: 11.00 seconds at about 120Mph with 400hp.estimated
mile: 9.5 seconds at about 150Mph with 600hp .estimated

The car will be road-registered and road-driven (In Australia)...
I intend to do hill-climbs,drag racing, road-rallys and juts plain
    drive it.

The bit missing from above of course is wheels. This is where I'm
looking for help. The rear end will run slight tubs and I will be able
to fit 10" wide rims with a 255-265 width tyre without problem.
On the front is where I'm stuck. Simmons wheels in Australia make
beautiful 3-piece magnesium wheels so my brand is pretty much fixed.
I want to fit 18" x 7" wheels on the front with a 225 width tyre, since
this is the skinniest 18" tyre you can buy (as far as I know). From
looking at the MG and various books I reckon a 205 is a pretty tight
fit. I can fold/remove the front guards inner lip ,and given the
suspension will be fairly stiff ,and also hand-made with wheels made to
any offset I desire, I reckon the 205 should fit no problem....The 225
may be another story however. Given the money I'm spending I'd love to
    fit the 18" rims.

Has anyone experience/advice concerning 205 or larger width
tyres????...I've seen stacks of pictures of MG race cars and they would
appear to have very wide tyres on the front....On a race car however
maybe a little bit of tyre fouling is acceptable....

Current estimates put the finish time at July-August next year. So it
should be in Sydney by early September at the latest...

The current state of play is:

The bellhousing is being made and we are going to get the gearbox and
engine placed in the car before we go any further...

Front calipers arrive at the end of this month..they're from a 944
porsche and are very light, and you can get a good range of pads for
    them.

The front end is due to be constructed in Jan-Feb...I need to buy the
wheels before then and the front disks...

The rear end will follow in March

By end of March all mechanical components should be in...

The roll cage will be added

The car will then have the interior fitted and the stereo positioned.

The car will then be stripped and sandblasted prior to painting. Paint
is being done by a chap who is Roll's Royce certified.

The car will be painted and then all the stuff will be put back in/on.

by Jul-Aug it should be ready to shipped to Melbourne for licensing and
    then onto Sydney..

Thats all I have time for now...

2337.2AWESOME....AYOV25::SMOOREIt's just a trip I'm onMon Nov 14 1994 18:0013
Wow... a 1990's MG alright,I'd never really thought of an MG as a
modified car before because most of the examples over here (if in good
condition) are standard because the owners are purist's,but as you have
obviously gathered that's not what this note is about.
The car sound's awesome, especially the performance figures and I'm glad
someone agree's with me about security,it's definitely a 1st priority.
I hope you keep following these notes and keep us informed about the
progress of your project car it sounds fantastic, best of luck with the
rest of it and I hope it gives more people the incentive to write in.

    Thanks,
I'll keep you posted as I go along...

I have to say that I love some of the small hatches you get in England
especially that Renault Clio (correct name I hope???) that had the
Escort Cosworth drivetrain and motor grafted into it.....It was in MAX
    POWER about 6 month's ago....
I like the idea of having a 4 wheel drive vehicle like a Cosworth...4
    wheel drive has huge advantages...
I did toy with fitting a Cosworth 4 wheel drive system under the MG,
    but
    a) There isn't enough room between the front chassis rails and
    b) my friend who's doing the really tricky stuff said no way its too
    hard.....

The next car I do (one day) will be 4 wheel drive...

2337.4BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE.....SSMPRD::SMOOREIt's just a trip I'm onMon Dec 05 1994 18:5731
Sorry it's been so long, but things have started moving with my own car.
    First of all I've fitted a new exhaust(performance of course),it's a
MAGNEX stainless steel job and it looks and sounds great.
Next up are the shock absorbers,I had originally ordered KONI's but
have since been informed that the KONI importers won't be getting a
delivery of them until Easter!!,so I've gone for SPAX instead, these are
of similar spec(adjustable etc) and should be delivered this week along
with the lowered/uprated springs and an alloy front strut brace.
These mod's together with the reset rear torsion bar(there are no
springs on the rear of a Renault 5 Turbo for those of you unfamiliar
with the car)which will be getting done at the beginning of next year
should improve handling that is already pretty good.
Other things arriving soon are a direct induction air filter kit(does
away with the airbox)and a set of NGK racing plugs and leads.I had
originally toyed with the idea of fitting Splitfire plugs but after
some good advice and an injection of common sense I decided on the
    NGK's(thanks those at 256.).
These are all the mods for now but on the horizon I can see a set of
15" alloy wheels wearing 195/45 tyres and a braking system upgrade
before the search for power really begins!

              Steven.

P.S. Just incase you were wondering,I have informed my insurance
company about the mods so far(exhaust, shocks)and the rep said it
shouldn't make any difference.....but he'll get back to me.

Go for some metal braided brake lines when you get to the brake parts.

Thank's, I had intended going for Aeroquip braided hoses front and rear,
grooved or cross-drilled disks, again front and rear, and uprated pads to
match,or go the whole hog and get a four pot conversion, this sells for
about 400+ pounds, but is meant to be really worthwhile.

We all have to blow our money somewhere...

    Some blow it on computers,
    Some on beer,
    Some on drugs,
    Some on food,
    etc etc

We just choose to blow it on cars. Is that a bad thing compared to some
    of the above.

    Re.2337.7
I'm not going to have a go either, but I have been around cars all my
    life(nearly 25 years),my interest first started when I was about 5(yes
five years old)when my father bribed me into grinding the valves into a
B.L. A-series head,I had my first 'go' at driving(sitting on my fathers
knee and steering)when I was 6,drove my brothers Hillman Imp when I was
8 and more or less drove ever since. So having "blown"all my money on
the rest of the things mentioned(except the computers)in the past,I
have now decided to "blow" it all on my car now that I have a car worth
doing something to.Incase you are wondering,my previous cars have
    been:-Mini 1000cc
          Kadett 1300cc
          Sierra Sapphire 1.8LX
          405 SRI
and now the Renault 5 GT TURBO
Now you know my automotive life history,we can get back on
track, remember the KONI shockers I ordered but couldn't get 'cos there
wasn't a delivery 'til Easter?,and remember how I was going for SPAX
shockers instead?,well I recieved another phone call yesterday saying
there would be none of those 'til mid-January,so I gave PRIMA RACING a
call this morning, and they have the KONI's in stock and the springs and
the alloy stut brace, and they will be here by Friday, why I didn't try a
Renault specialist like PRIMA in the first place is beyond me,but there
you go,I'll keep you posted if there are any more developements.

Then we should ask ourselves - what are we doing in the 'max power'
    topic!!!

Did anyone see that article on the the granada with the humungous

While were on the subject of car stereo, can anyone recommend good
speakers for my car(by recommend I mean speakers you have heard and
know sound good),they need to be 165mm dia.,of two or three way design,
or I may go for components if I can find somewhere suitable to fit the
tweeters,I am just concentrating on the front at the moment(that's
where your sound stage is meant to be)as the rear speaker locations are
tiny,I may add some bass at the back at some stage but first priority
is the front.I fancy Infinity or maybe Kenwood(a bit of brand loyalty
creeping in),but I am of course open to suggestion. My head unit puts
out 4x15w or 2x25w if you are running just the front speakers, which I
will be,so the speakers will need to be compatible with this output.
I have auditioned Infinity's which meet the criteria in a local shop
and they sounded good, but they were running off an Alpine head unit, and
you can never really tell how they'll sound 'til they are in your own
car,so any help will be appreciated.

           Steven.

2337.21Suggestions......FORTY2::HOWELLJust get to the point...Thu Dec 08 1994 09:3933
You'll be hard pushed to find something better than infinity's, but
they're expensive and to be honest you won't be making the most of them
running them just off your head unit.

Kenwood are fine, as are Alpine, and probably represent a more cost
effective buy. I take it you have a Kenwood head unit? Maybe speakers
to match will be better - at least it's all neat then.

If you can, consider separates, putting the mid-range drivers in the
existing 165mm locations and thinking about locating the tweeters
somewhere high up in the doors or dash (I've got mine in the
    A-pillars).

Also, if you can force yourself, consider an amplifier. I don't mean a
ridiculous setup, just a simple 4x50 watt amp will do, because running
4 speakers up the front and 2 in the rear of a single head unit won't
    make more much.

I know you suggested just the front speakers, and you are correct in
saying you want to concentrate on building up the front sound stage
first, but you don't want to go without quadrophonic sound for too
long! Even if you don't buy some rear speakers first, it's food for
    thought later on.

And one thing you don't want to do is run all the front speakers off
the head unit, and then later on decide to whack in an amplifier and
bass tube in the boot! This i) is very naff ii) sounds crap unless
you're one of those bass-nutters who just likes to listen to a low
    warble all day!

    Sounds good... :-)

    Thank's,my local dealer(who stocks mainly Alpine,Clarion and
Blaupunkt)has a small Blaupunkt 4x50w amp on sale just now for 89
    pounds a saving of 50 pounds(it says),this could be just what I'm
looking for ,though I'm not a big Blaupunkt fan,but if it fits the
    bill....
I also have to think about speakers,I would like to keep everything the
same and I believe Kenwood do a component set the size I need,so that
would seem to settle it.Tweeter location shouldn't be a problem,I think
I could just about get away with mounting them on the window winder
    blanks,but make it look good.
All I need to do now is find the money, any suggestions?

Back to the subject of ICE,did anyone see the Kenwood/Rockford Fosgate
install in the 5 Turbo in the January issue of Max Power? almost 3000
    pounds worth,including installation costs,wow!
Still on the subject of ICE,does anyone have any experience of,or views
on Pine(not to be confused with Alpine)equipment, the magazines(Max
Power,Car Stereo&Security and Car Hi-Fi)seem to give it pretty good
reviews, and although it is cheap, they say you get a lot for the money.
    As I am on a tight-ish budget,I was considering(considering mind)an
install with some of this gear, any(constuctive)views?
Back to the subject of suspension(oh no not that again),having lived
with it for a few days now and trying different set-ups,Itried them on
the stiffest settings all round, and guess what? it's superb,I'm not
trying to be "big or clever",I really do find it to be the best set-up
for me,the ride is firm, but not bone shakingly so,it just feels very
    taught and together.
    Any comments?

I should try it under heavy braking too, just to make sure. It might
get a bit 'skittish' but, if all seems fine, stick with it if that's
    what you prefer!

Aha....

Now i have heard of Pine....

I bought a pair of Pine 6x9's 160w and ran them off a Sony CDx
they sounded pretty good... so good that I am designing a system at
the moment for my VW Golf Cab. Something like this...

Feedback Appriciated....

	AMP 4x50w Driving 4x 5" Mids & 4x 1" Tweets
	(For Front and Rear)

	AMP 2x100w driving 2 x 10" Subs in Box.

Using Pine equipment this will cost around 225.00.
Using kenwood or another brand would run to over 500.00

Now people will argue that Kenwood are better they probably are
but like all things you also pay for the name..!!

You may be paying for the name but you also pay for the quality,
i've experimented with cheaper makes, and with ICE you definately
get what you pay for. I've now got Kenwood and Pioneer, and am
     well impressed.
But saying that i'm sure your proposed setup will sound good.
B.T.W. i visited the Pine stand at the International performance show

Is that RMS power? If not I think you'll find you will need more power to drive
4 x mid/tweet (if you want to hear them over the bass that is).

Pine stuff seems to do the job, but I would use better where your budget will
allow.

2337.36Power FestFORTY2::HOWELLJust get to the point ...Mon May 15 1995 10:51109
Well, over the weekend there was held the 'MAX SADNESS' PowerFest at
Avon Park Raceway, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Dragged along with my mate, since we generally attend some of the NHRA
Hot Rod drags, I duly turned up Saturday midday.

It was a dual event arranged by STREET MACHINE (proper cars) and MAX
POWER (ahem...), but the Street Machine reader basically stayed away
    and I can understand why.

It was a "run-what-ya-brung" event, camping over night, with
disco/band/comedian/hypnotist and beauty contest. Altogether busy and
    entertaining.

The number of 'rods that turned up could be counted on your four limbs,
the rest being the usual mix of Sierra Cosworths, lookalike, R5 Turbos,
Fiesta XR2's, Fiat Uno Turbos, Astra 16v, Gold GTi's, blah de blah de
blah, and lots of lookalikes and sadmobiles.

Altogether 350 cars signed on... and there was more waiting to, too. So
generally it was just a 'MAX POWER' event (hence the topic choice).

The few rods that were there were kicking a$$ but then again, with
their wonderful monster V8's, it's hardly surprising. A few cossies and
chipped R5's gave them something to worry about, but it was hardly
    memorable.

    Good moments were :

The two chipped Sierra Cossies, being driven by some responsible lads
(kept the racing on the track), one pale yellow, the other a 2-door
gunmetal grey converted to 4x4 drivetrain. Both were going hell for
leather, and ran in the 12's. Very fast.

The Cooper 1.3Si (must have had a John Cooper pack in it) that burned
off an Astra 16v. All the mini freaks were cheering their heads off!

The Renault 11 with chipped R5 turbo engine, but looking completely bog
standard, also peeing all over Astra 16v, other R5's, Uno Turbo's, just
about all it was matched to really...

The Gordini R5, ported and tuned, but again looking very scrappy,
giving R5 Turbo's a run for their money.

Reading's "Dog Squad"'s chopped Ital estate, with what was said to be a
Rover V8 (but when I looked it didn't look like one - more like a V6 of
some description), piddling all over the sad boys. A good laugh, these
    lads.

A gorgeous Peugot 306, more or less standard fitment except for the 17"
rims and 205/40 profile rubber! Talk about elastic bands! This car was
    nice. ^^

The 34(?I think?) Plymouth roadster doing some wonderful burnouts. In
fact, every proper car (the 'rods) was doing a decent burnout, the
pathetic efforts of the FWD poss paling into insignificance :-).

The sound-off. Sheez! Talk about volume! These guys know a loud stereo
when they see one! Some of the proffessional gear was amazing... you
could hear the bass all over the camp site. Some of the Kevin-madeup
efforts, plonked into the back of sad little XR3's with dayglo paint
jobs and bolt-on chrome exhausts, was a little less inspiring.

    Less memorable moments :

Everyone was just to sad. I don't mean car-wise... yes, there were some
sad cars there, (okay a lot!), but my taste doesn't stand for anything
where other people are concerned. No, I mean their behaviour.
Wheelspinning and handbraking down the pit lane is *NOT* what the
sensible 'rodders do. They keep their fun to the track. These guys were
just ar$eholes, and we were lucky there wasn't any serious accidents.

EVeryone had to race around the camp site, and us normal lot just
looked on in annoyance. The marshalls were getting fed up, and by
Sunday morning you could tell that Avon Park officials in general had
    had enough of them.

Don't get me wrong, there were sensible people there... but not many.
Thanks to the Astra 16v boys next to our tent who had their stereo on
full blast all night (not enough for them just to hear it, ofcourse,
but the whole of our site). Also thanks to them for starting a camp
fire upwind of my car and tent, and leaving us with a nice grey
    fleck-effect in the morning.

Thanks to the idiot on the bike for racing down the pit lane only to
fall off as he tried to dodge an innocent car... it made me smile. If
only his injuries had been a little more serious.

Thanks to the true racers for showing people what *real* power is (the
vettes did put on a nice little show, even if one of them wasn't all
that quick). The Chevy Belle Air (Bell Aire? Sp?!), fully kitted out
and tubbed, was a sight that humbled everyone!

Thanks to the 9 contestants for the beauty queen pageant (NOT). Two 14
year olds, a 15 year old, 17's, 18's and the oldest... wow... a 19 year
old nurse. %-S. Great. Mostly school girls come with their boyfriends,
you can imagine the kind of intelligent answers we were getting for
"What's you favourite pasttime", "Favourite band" etc...

All in all, an amusing weekend, but not one I'll be returning to next
    year.

    Cheers,
    Dan

P.S. No I didn't run in the end, but from comparison with a
    lesser-powered 1340 Mini, I'd imagine I'd have run in the high 16's /
    low 17's.

interested. Drop me a mail or reply here if there's demand, and I'll

Over the weekend I treated myself to the stereo gear for the K3 I'm
building over the summer... a 4x20w Alpine amp, 6x9" reference 2-ways,
6" reference 2-ways and a set of component 5" midwoofers and 3cm dome
tweeters ... together with the pair of 2x150w amps and 10" subs and
crossover sitting at home (gathering dust), it should be quite a
system.... Tottenham Court Road really is a wonderful place and, yes, I
did get them with guarantee :-].
