| Just ask a Rover owner! They were all the same until the BMW takeover.

| I think they are still the same - apart from the chrome, grille and walnut
on the Rover.

| In the recent Top Gear 'owner satisfaction survey' Hondas (Civic and
Accord) were placed third and fourth after two Toyotas if my memory
serves me correctly. The Accord was on my fleet car short list last
time (can't afford it now, of course!) and I remember being quite
impressed. The reason it didn't win was that it didn't subjectively
feel as spacious inside as the others - which, if you're interested,
were the Carlton, Volvo 940, BMW 518 .. and if you're not interested
....
As a final thought, Honda has publicly stated that it's after the BMW
market. I think they'll have a difficult job with the 'image', but I'll
bet they'll make some pretty good cars in the attempt.

| From what one hears the Honda Accord dressed up as a Rover
600 is a BMW beater but then of course it's also a BMW as
well (so to speak).

| Re: .4
If, in a fit of pique, or for "marketing reasons" Honda comes up with
an Accord that's actually "better" than the 600 (and I'm betting they
will) then it looks like, for once, Joe Public is gonna be the winner!
Aint Marketing wonderful.

| My wife won't drive anything but an Accord.
In fact, I prefer driving it to my Company ZX.
The ZX is fun but the Accord is luxury...
