| An item on Radio 4 last night quoted the statistics as saying
the safest small cars were Renault 5's built between 1983 and
1985. Does anyone know where to get ths book from? I suspect
there is much more to it than reported on the news last night.

| There was some mention of this on TV where someone said
that you cannot look at the cars alone, but you need to
take into account that certain cars attract certain types
of driver.

| I saw a snippet in a paper which suggested this pamphlet contained the
statistics that last year 3,800 people died on the roads and this was
the lowest figure for a long time. Were any reasons given? Are there
fewer accidents? Do the rescue services save more victims? Or what?
