Hello all, I own an old convertible car (Mercedes Pagode). Its soft top roof is in pretty good shape, except that it becomes wet and leaks when it rains. Does anybody out there know of a good treatment that can make it waterproof? Any advise is welcome. Thanks, /noufi

Noufi, You may well want to get hold of a silicon based spray to make the roof water repellant/proof. - You can get the spray from most camping shops. Someone may give you a better idea, but I used this spray on a tent that leaked, and it did the trick. /warren | |||||

Or something like that. It both colours and waterproofs soft tops. Very handy for faded ones. The MG owners club sells it and I've seen adverts in car mags. Dave |
