    I have some problems with Mercedes Benz 500SL (1984 model). I hope
    someone will help me to fix this problem.
    
    If i turn on light (Parking light or headlight), the headlight wisher
    liquid comes on. And also if I try to use the headlight wiper, it does
    not work.
    
    I took this car to a local Mercerdes dealer, they could not fix it
    because they do not have the shop manual for this car.( This is a gray
    market car. Not imported by North America Mercerdes Benz)
    
    Are there any manuals (Service boooks) I can buy?

	Pull the relay or fuse for the headlamp washers, my Cavalier SRi had a fault with the headlamp wash wipe system and it was the relay that had shorted out internally. This would also be the cheapest place to start with swapping things. Andy

	I fixed a similar problem on a Sierra once. The headlamp washer would not stop washing. Problem was that the wiper arm would not move (Car wash had flicked it behind the parking stop), so the computer (Cray probably) couldn't count 5 wipes and it just kept pumping water! Andrew
