my new Xantia, that Citren Assist which comes with the new car, gives full
AA 5 Star style cover on the Continong. I'm glad I bought the extension

| My friend in Holland has been able to arrange the insurance. He has
insured a foreign vehicle, to be driven by someone with a U.K.
driving license, from the U.K. to Holland.
I have not been able to insure this journey.
It tells you something about the U.K. insurance companies I think.
Is it because we are a higher risk or some of us are and everybody
pays?
Car crime in Holland is by what I know no less than here.
What is the solution to this problem? Suggestions

2219.5 | Just insure it... | CMOTEC::JASPER | Stuck on the Flypaper of Life | Fri Feb 11 1994 12:48 | 7 |
| Some certificates are worded " Any car owned by the Insured" & they
then give you 7 days to notify them. It shouldnt take 7 days to drive
to Holland. Otherwise, I guess you'll have to get the cheapest n month
policy you can find, it should still be cheaper than trailering the
car.
