I think the wheel trims that would really do your audi justice would be
plastic chrome spoke wheel trims (at halfords for about twenty quid )
while your there you could get some of those wonderful christmas bits
1. a plug in twelve volt xmas tree for your rear window.
2. some spray on snow for your windows (perhaps even lead windows)
3. a jolly santa pine air freshener
4. a compass, thermal blanket, twelve volt flask kettle ,snow chains
5. a turbo and 4X4 sticker...
enough is enough...

| Clayton,
I don't feel it necessary to put the 4x4 or turbo stickers on
the car as I already have a quattro badge on the back and one of those
bolt on twin exhaust pipes. This really makes the car stand out now.
I've also recently acquired one of those illuminous light strips for
the back window.

going back to them wheel trims i fancy putting a set on them, those
wire ones cos I think they would be easier to clean than these steel

chain stearing wheel and all sorts of stickers on the back windows, remember
the ones triangle flags saying : i've been to hayling: etc it was finished in
global flake purple (very large metal flake paint job) the reason i remember

| Those neon underbody lighting kits, where can I get them from?
I've just been out at dinnertime and got myself one of those
Knightrider flashing lights thingies for the bonnet. It looks good,
easy to install. I'll let you know how I get on after the weekend with
it.
I didn't realize how much fun you could have when doing up a car. Last
weekend I decided to replace the carpeting. Ever so easy, and as I had
a piece left over I covered the rear shelf as well. I think the lime
green colour really sets the interior off a treat.

basically a flat cap made of felt that sat firm on your head the advert said
in the event of a crash this safty cap will help prevent damage to ones head
the was a picture of a guy wearing a flat cap, handle bar mustache and a pipe
with a strapping big scarf on... if he was around today i think he would own

like that.
But on reflection I know you are a Golf man and I have to agree the Golf does
handle incrediby well.

I must say the thought that there may be herds of people driving around with

I suppose this should be in the Corsa note but as nobody here seems to
have one i'll put it here.
This morning I started the car and thinking that it was only water on
the screen I switched the wipers on.I heard a small thump and one of
the wipers (drivers side)stopped working.I got out and lined it up with
the other wiper,it did a wipe and instead of returning and starting
again it went past it's initialising point and stopped.
Can anyone tell me why?
Have I buggered the motor (if so,what a light weight motor!)or have I
just lost the rod.
Or am I wrong?
Can anyone help?

I had this happen on an old style Astra, and all it was was that the
nut which holds the wiper arm onto the shaft had loosened. I just
tightened it up again, and away we went.
You get at the nut by lifting the cover at the bottom of the arm.
Hope this helps.
