Hello Golfman here.
Maybe people can give me more information, regarding the new Escort
Turbo diesel, as you seem to know secret information regarding cars.
My dad currently drives an 'H' reg XR2i and is wanting to replace it.
He saw the escort advertised in the daily mirror, but when he went to
Horncastle for Price, Performance etc. They didn't have any info, and
even said it hasn't even been built yet.
So, if you have an details of Price, Performance etc please reply.

I'm waiting to see what the diesel Mondeos will be like, but these won't be available until late August or September. However, a salesman at Reg Vardy Fords in Reading told me that they are expecting a limited edition escort which will have the same turbo-charged, intercooled diesel engine as the Mondeo. Could this be what you're looking for? He told me that they were expecting a demonstrator in within a few days, which would be either this or next week. Chris. | |||||
