    Does anyone have an Astra Convertible I could test drive for 1hr or
    more?
    
    I am fairly flexible as to where I could go to test drive it... none of
    my local garages seem to have one.  If you know of a Vauxhall dealer
    with one on the forecourt please let me know...

	Christine I noticed one in the showroom at Belingers (Grove nr Wantage) on Tuesday, think its been there a while so they may let you try it. They were very helpfull when a friend wanted to try a car. Andy

	I am going down past reading/basingstoke next week so I'll give it a go. I have just placed an order - but I'm not too hopeful. My local dealer reckons there are no more 2.0i's in the UK (he checked the computer!) and they've stopped making them... Oh well, fingers crossed... Xtine

	Word on the street (dealers) is that the new shape convertible probably won't be out till nearer August... I quite like the old shape and the price on the quote I was given by fleet (�440) when I asked if they'd any convertible quotes seemed very good... If I can't get one I will either try and get an Astra 2.0i CD quote (difficult, it has so many extras I can't think of any low cost options to ask for) or look around at the other convertibles on the market... However, the Rover 214 Convertible quote that fleet had was �571, so that's probably not a feasible option... Xtine
