    A couple of months ago the central locking on my Escort 91 model,
    became very tempramentle, not unlocking from the drivers side door but
    locking okay, it eventually got to the stage where you couldnt get in
    from the drivers side.
    
    I eventually took it back to the ford dealer and they replaced the
    unit, now the problem has occurred again, and I am unable to get into
    my car from the drivers side, and have to keep opening the car from the
    passengers side, which is a right pain.
    
    Has anyone had any simialr problems with Ford's central locking
    system ??
