Well, I dont particularly hate Skodas but the class winners in the Lombard
RAC bear scant resemblence both physically and (arguably) cosmetically to
the ones you see on the road.

| The new Felicia, is a totally revamped model with the firm involvement
and financing from Volkswagen Group. Build quality and finish is
excellent.
They are even getting great reviews from the motoring press at this
time. (including Top Gear presenters!) Well worth a look if you're in
the market for cheap spacious 5 door hatch motoring. From 5999 on the
road.

| And now the Octavia, based on the Passat.........for about 10K coming
in next year?
Top Gear again recommend it for value for money motoring..........the
thing that lets it down?.......preceived resale value because of the
badge and 'butt of jokes' image.
SHame really, because up tot he war, the Czechs were perceived as being
very strong on the engineering front....like the Germans...who now own
them!
