| Also the A40 in from Swakely's Roundabout, along the M4 (J4-1 & H'row
spur) and one near Twickenham Bridge (A316?), apparently.

There was one on twickenham bridge about half way across, a grey box on
a short , 10' is pole, heading for the M3 on the a316. Last time I
passed that way it had gone. Maybe they put a new one up.

There's a detection camera just past the second or third bridge
between juntion 11 and 12 on the M4.The camera is east facing, and
it's a biggun, probably a radar tracked camera.
Andy..No officer I was only doing 70....

| And while we're at it; remember boys, when going through a suburban area
and notice a speed trap, don't forget to flash your headlights to warn
drivers coming the other way.

re: -.2
One of my mates got nicked and fined for flashing his lights at a car
coming the other way, to warn him about the copper in the side road he'd
just passed (not very well described, but you get the idea)...
I think the cop got him for illegal use of the lights.

1920.10 | always flash ? | KERNEL::MCGOWAN | | Fri Oct 16 1992 14:28 | 6 |
| Do the cameras ALWAYS use a flash for their exposure ?
Pete
(just musing about attaching a strobe flash unit to the back bumper,
either pointing back at the camera to blind it, or at the numberplate
to totally over-expose it.)
