Help. I'm looking for someone in Germany who could help me try to source a part for my BMW 2002. The part is the accelerator pump membrane for the Solex carburettor. The car is a 1975 model with single carb. I have tried to get this part here in France, but have been told by BMW France and Solex France that it is no longer available. Then at the weekend, I met a German guy in a petrol station in Geneva who was driving an 1802. He tells me that these parts are still available in Germany and he recently replaced the one on his car a few months ago. Being that the only alternative to me here in France is to replace the carb (not a cheap option), I'm hoping that someone living in Germany and reading this might be able to help me out ...
