Am I imagining it, or has the UK driving licence changed again recently ?
I just had to apply for a duplicate, to replace a stolen one, and the
thing which has arrived seems to be different yet again from the unpleasant
pink paper "Euro-licence" which replaced the old-style red card model.
This new one is pink and green, comes complete with instructions on how to
fold it up such that the words "Driving Licence" are no longer visible, and
has a plastic sleeve to keep it , which measures 4�" by 6"... a bit tricky
to slip in one's pocket, wallet or whatever.
The original euro-model was bad enough, but, in an age when almost everyone
else seems to be going for a credit-card with your photo on it, we appear
to be travelling in the opposite direction again !

It came after the all green one.....green round the edges fading to
yellow in the middle....

That'll be how i don't remember it i was just a boy in th late
seventies........but my first licence was all green.....in about
1985............
